SUPER CREATOR . . . ?

We know there are some super-creators out there, who somehow don’t succumb to ALL THE THINGS coming from all directions. People with disciplined practices and thought-out plans. People who wake up early every morning and do things like Morning Pages. And still have jobs. People who not only write in that first page of a new journal, but all the pages, as though it’s natural to just keep going. People making art, writing books, launching new offerings, without the sweat, tears, and paralysis.

But they’re certainly not here. We don’t know any of them personally. And we can’t relate. Nope.
Creating is messy. The struggle is real. And we’re a little suspect of anyone who says otherwise.

If you find these kinds of super creator standards creeping in…we highly recommend letting that sh*t go. So you can get back to the reality of creating. ‘Cause that’s all that really matters.
